In the evening, have dinner at a local restaurant near your accommodation, sampling some Taiwanese cuisine. Return to your accommodation and rest for the night.

Day 2: Exploring Taichung After breakfast, spend the day exploring the attractions of Taichung City. Visit the National Museum of Natural Science, a popular museum that features interactive exhibits on science, nature, and technology. Explore the museum's various galleries, including the Space IMAX Theater and the Botanical Garden. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant near the museum, sampling some Taiwanese specialties. In the afternoon, visit the Fengjia Night Market, one of the largest and busiest night markets in Taiwan. Spend the evening exploring the market's bustling alleyways, sampling street food, and shopping for souvenirs. Return to your accommodation in the evening and rest for the night.

Day 3: Day Trip to Sun Moon Lake Take a day trip to Sun Moon Lake, a picturesque lake located in the mountains of Nantou County. Explore the various attractions around the lake, including the Wenwu Temple and Ci'en Pagoda. Take a leisurely boat ride on the lake and enjoy the scenic views of the surrounding mountains and forests. Visit the Xiangshan Visitor Center, where you can learn about the ecology and conservation efforts of the area. Enjoy lunch at a restaurant overlooking the lake, sampling some local specialties. In the afternoon, take a stroll along the lakeside trails or rent a bicycle to explore the area further. Return to Taichung in the evening and have dinner at a restaurant of your choice.
